Cancellation and Privacy Policy

Below, you will find cancellation policy for Hypnobirthing and Baby massage and Yoga

Booking and cancellation policy for Hypnobirthing.

Full fees are due on within 48 hours of booking your course and can be paid by bank transfer or by credit or debit card by telephone. 

 

Hypnobirthing refunds-unfortunately because of costs associated with running the hypnobirthing course which include room rental, books and paperwork, the following cancellation fees apply.

 

At least 28 calendar days notice is required for a full refund

Thereafter

 

14-27 days 50% of course fee will be refunded

 

13 days or less 100% of course fees will be retained.

Hypnobirthing Online

 

Full fees are due on booking your course. 

 

Refunds for online Hypnobirthing-unfortunately because of the costs associated with running the course which include online room hire, books and paperwork, the following cancellation fees apply.

Booking and cancellation policy for baby massage and baby yoga.

 

To secure your place course fees are payable at time of booking. Booking forms must be completed for baby massage and baby yoga before attending the course. Please ensure you make the instructor aware of any health conditions or adaptions that may be required on the booking form. The instructor is not responsible for omissions of health conditions on the booking form.

The parent/carer is responsible for informing the instructor of any changes in health conditions prior to the commencement of class.

The fee payable for a course if for one adult and one baby or multiple births such as twins etc. Please contact your instructor if you have any special requirements.

 

Covid 19

You may receive a Covid 19 questionnaire depending on current advice issued by the government which must be filled in prior to attending class.

Cancellation by service users

Cancellation of a course outside of 14 days of course commencement will receive a full refund minus a £5 cancellation fee.

Cancellation within 14 days course commencement or not completing a course will not be entitled to a refund. You may however choose to attend the course/part of the course that has been missed at another time.

 

Cancellation by Calm Baby and Bump

Calm Baby and Bump reserves the right to cancel, amend a course, change venue due to low class numbers or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event that Calm Baby and Bump cancel a course, you will be entitled to a full refund of the fees paid for the course.  If Calm Baby and Bump cancel part of a course, you will receive a refund for the days which have not been attended. We will not be held liable for any costs incurred by you due to cancellation.

Missed Classes

It is understandable that sometimes attendees may need to miss classes due to illness. Unfortunately, there will be no refunds/discounts given for missed classes. You may attend another class to catch up on missed classes.

Illnesses and Contraindications.

Please do not attend class if your child has sickness, diarrhoea, contagious diseases, open cuts and sores, acute infections, fever, undiagnosed lumps and bumps, serious skin complaints, inflammation, recent haemorrhage, jaundice, meningitis, childhood leukaemia, brittle bones. Please wait at least 72 hours after your child’s immunisations before attending a class.

Parents/carers should not attend class if they show signs of illness.

Safety

Calm Baby and Bump are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury that you may occur while attending classes.

You are responsible for practicing the skills that you learn outside of the class environment.

This covers information such as your name and contact details and also covers information such as identification numbers, electronic location data and other online identifiers.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights which I will always work to uphold.

How Do You Use My Personal Data

Under the GDPR, I must always have a lawful basis for using personal data.  This may be because the data is necessary for mutual performance of a mutual contract held with you and because you have consented to my use of your personal data or because it is in my legitimate therapeutic interest to use it. Your personal data will be used for the following purposes:

To manage the therapeutic process with you.

Tailoring and personalising a bespoke therapy for your needs

Communicating with you. This may include emails/texts/phone calls.

Supplying you with information that may be relevant to you, via email, that you have chosen to opt in to – and you may also unsubscribe at any time.

 

How Long Will You Keep my Personal Data

I will not keep your personal data for any longer than is deemed necessary in light of the reason it was first collected and under the obligations of my insurance policy. Legally, information should be kept for 7 years.

However in order to safeguard privacy and security, real names are security coded.

 

How and Where Do You Store or Transfer My Personal Data

I will only store your data in the U.K. This means that it will be fully protected under the GDPR. Electronic data storage is password security encoded and paper records are kept in a locked cabinet.

 

Do You Share My Personal Data?

I will not share any of your personal data with any third parties for any purpose unless I feel there is a threat to life or I am legally required to submit at a request to comply with legal obligations.

Should you wish to view any personal data I hold about you, please ask and I shall supply a copy.  This is known as ‘subject access request’.
